We understand that people approach making appointments differently and therefore have
several options available for contacting us for a first appointment. Please feel free to complete
this form (link to the form) and someone will contact you by your listed preferred method of
contact, call us at 610-265-3400 and Robert, our patient relations administrator will likely answer
your call and be able to help you right away or you may reach our answering service and in that
case we (either Robert or one of our postdoctoral interns) will get back to you as soon as

If you are looking to meet with your therapist remotely on an occasional basis please talk

Yes, we have a training center within PeaceTree with a dual purpose of providing low cost
therapy to the community while training the next generation of new therapists. Please either

Yes, we currently work in-network with most BCBS PPO plans including (highmark, capital,
federal), united health care and Aetna plans. We work with ALL other insurance companies as
an out-of-network provider. Working as an out-of-network provider is a simple process and we
will assist you with it throughout treatment. First, your insurance company needs to be
contacted to inquire about your mental health "out-of-network benefits." Generally, insurance
companies can reimburse anywhere from 50% to 80% percent depending on your plan and
deductible. You would then pay our fee at the time of our session and our billing department can
then submit the claim/what you paid directly to your insurance company. Your insurance
company will then send you a check for your reimbursement based on your specific insurance
policy's benefits.

Yes, we offer appointments Monday through Saturday from early morning (8am) until late
evening (9pm/10pm) appointments.

Your first appointment will be a consultation with your therapist and will last approximately 45
minutes. During this time the challenges you are having will be discussed, a plan for treatment
will be made and time will be allotted so that you can ask as many questions as you would like
and then decide when you and your therapist will meet next.

Each following session is also 45/50 minutes long. Most patients attend sessions on a weekly
basis, but others opt to attend sessions twice a week or twice a month.

The length of your treatment depends on the issues that you would like to address. At the
end of your first meeting, a suggested length for your therapy can be assessed and discussed.
It is worth noting that some patients report feeling better after a few sessions. As you make
progress you can typically keep up your progress with the option of maintenance sessions.
These can be conducted monthly or even every other month and are designed to monitor the
changes and continue the growth and progress you will have made.

Your confidentiality is protected by state law and by the rules of our profession. All
information concerning patients is held confidential and is released only through procedures
consistent with the law and professional ethics.

While we personally are not shy about how much we love therapy we understand that some
people prefer to be private about their love of therapy/seeing their therapist. We have worked
and currently work with high level executives and public figures and understand the need for
extra privacy. If this is a concern for you we can discuss ways to increase your protection, such
as us texting you at the time of your appointment to let you know the office is free so you can
walk right in instead of waiting in the waiting area for your appointment and/or using a special
exit available when leaving your appointments (available at our king of prussia office).

We collaborate with local psychiatrists and medical professionals on a regular basis and if
you need referrals for a medication evaluation your PeaceTree therapist can assist you with that
process.

After your first session goals that you would like to accomplish will be identified and
evaluation and measurement of your goals will continue on an on-going basis.

Under this law, health care providers and facilities are to give patients an estimate of the expected charges for non-emergency medical services not covered or being paid by insurance. Therefore, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the total expected cost for your medical and mental health care, including psychotherapy services, during a 12-month period. This law currently applies to patients that are private pay.  For any patients that are using insurance or submitting to insurance, the out of pocket costs are determined by your insurance plan. You can ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you are private pay and you receive a bill that significantly exceeds your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
